Abstract

Geoprometna analiza zračnog prostora Republike Hrvatske temelji se na prostornom položaju na granici Srednje i Jugoistočne Europe te time ima stratešku poziciju u povezivanju Bliskog Istoka i Azije sa Europom. Strukturu zračnog prostora koja je skladu sa regulativama Europske Unije i standardima ICAO-a čini jedinstveno područje letnih informacija koje prati državnu granicu, područje kontrole zračnog prometa podijeljenog na klase C, D, G te područje kontroliranih zona oko svih 9 međunarodnih zračnih luka. Zračni prostor RH ima minimalna ograničenja zračnog prostora, većinom vezana uz vojne vježbe. Upravo zato NATO cijeni geoprometni položaj zračnog prostora RH jer pruža savršenu lokaciju, a na sigurnoj udaljenosti za sve logističke i operativne aktivnosti za vojne operacije. Međunarodni značaj zračnog prostora RH ogleda se kroz pravce razvoja zračnog prostora u sklopu Jedinstvenog europskog neba i implementacije koncepta zračnog prostora slobodnih ruta te fleksibilne uporabe zračnog prostora uz suradnju unutar Funkcionalnog bloka zračnog prostora Srednje Europe. Navedenim inicijativama se osigurava najviši standard sigurnosti i maksimalno iskorištavanje potencijala i kapaciteta zračnog prostora RH.

Abstract (english)

The Geographical analysis of the Republic of Croatia’s airspace is based on the geo-position at the border between the Central part and Southeast part of Europe, which provides a strategic location for connecting the Middle East and Asia with Europe. This structure of airspace is in accordance with EU legislation and ICAO standards and consists of the single flight information region that follows state borders, the control area classified as C, D, and G areas and the control zone around all 9 international airports. The Republic of Croatia’s airspace has a small number of restrictions mostly due to military exercises. NATO values the Republic of Croatia’s geographical position because it offers a perfect location because of the safe distance for the logistics and all operational activities needed for military operations. International importance of airspace is defined in ways of development within a Single European Sky, implementation of a free route airspace concept, and a flexible use of airspace with collaboration inside the functional block of Central Europe’s airspace. These initiatives assure the highest safety standards and maximum potential and capacity of the Republic of Croatia’s airspace.
