Abstract

Osobe starije životne dobi su posebno ugrožena skupina vozača. Razlog je
degradacija psihofizičkih sposobnosti uzrokovana procesom starenja i djelovanjem
određenih bolesti i poremećaja zdravlja koji su karakteristični za stariju životnu dob.
Stoga je bilo potrebno utvrditi psihofizičke osobine, bolesti i poremećaje zdravlja koji
stvaraju probleme vozačima starije životne dobi pri upravljanju vozilom. Nadalje,
analizira se broj prometnih nesreća koje izazivaju stariji vozači i temeljem... More toga
određuje se njihova rizičnost u prometu. Na bazi statističkih podataka za razdoblje od
2012. do 2014. utvrđeno je da vozači starije životne dobi čine svega 9 do 10,3%
vozačke populacije, da su 2012. godine izazvali 7,6% prometnih nesreća, 2013. godine
8,2% prometnih nesreća a 2014. godine 8,9% prometnih nesreća. Vozači stariji od 65
godina u odnosu na druge dobne skupine izazivaju 8 do 9,5% prometnih nesreća. Na
temelju toga zaključuje se da vozači stariji od 65 godina nisu rizična dobna skupina u

Abstract (english)

Seniors are particularly vulnerable group of drivers. The reason for is degradation of
mental and physical abilities caused by the aging process and the action of certain
diseases and health disorders that are typical of old age. Therefore, it was necessary
to determine the psychophysical characteristics, diseases and health disorders that
create problems to elderly drivers when driving. Furthermore, analysis of the number

that elderly drivers accounted for only 9 to 10.3% of the driving population, that in
2012 they caused 7.6% of traffic accidents, in 2013 8.2% traffic accidents and in
