Abstract

Metrika operativnih performanci cross dockinga u robno transportnom centru uvelike ovisi o vrsti performanci koje se namjeravaju mjeriti. Kao takva ona nije unaprijed definirana i ne postoji jedan univerzalan pristup mjerenju performanci koja se primjenjuje za sve cross docking sustave, već svaki slučaj zahtjeva jedinstven pristup. Pristup mjerenju operativnih performanci sastoji se od pronalaženja čimbenika koji utječu na postizanje željene razine performanca, kontinuiranog mjerenja promatranih performanci, te optimiranju sustava cross dockinga temeljem dobivenih rezultata. Čimbenici koji utječu na performance su varijable čijim se podešavanjem postiže optimalno funkcioniranje sustava cross dockinga.

Abstract (english)

Performance metrics of the cross docking operations in the cargo terminal largely depends on the performances which will be measured. As such, it is not pre-defined and there is no universal approach for measuring performances which applies to all cross docking systems, but each case requires a unique approach. The method for measuring operational performances consists of finding the factors that affect the achieving of the desired level of performances, continuous measurement of the observed performances and the optimization of the cross docking system on the basis of the results obtained. The factors which affect the concerned performance are variables, whose adjustment results in the optimal functioning of the cross docking system.
