Abstract

Logistika u današnjem vremenu globalizacije, potrebe za što bržom isporukom robe i povezivanjem ključnih točki u opskrbnom lancu ima važnu ulogu u gospodarstvu. Kupci i klijenti zahtijevaju veću brzinu, točnost i pouzdanost. Uz to, sve su stroži ekološki zahtjevi koji se moraju poštivati, posebno u području transporta. Ne treba zanemariti niti stalan razvoj tehnike i tehnologije prisutnih u svim područjima, od sredstava za rad do informacijsko – komunikacijske tehnologije. Tako se djelatnost logistike kroz povijest razvijala, unaprjeđivala i prilagođavala kako bi bila što efikasnija. Intermodalni transport je oblik transporta koji odgovara suvremenim zahtjevima za brzinom, sigurnošću i ekološkim zahtjevima. Sa prednostima koje ima, njegovo uključenje u djelatnost logistike je neupitno. Napravljene su mnoge studije i radovi u kojima se istraživao utjecaj logistike na intermodalni transport i obrnuto, te njihova povezanost. Temeljem njih, došlo se do rješenja koja se primjenjuju u stvarnim procesima.

Abstract (english)

At the present time of globalisation, the need for express delivery of goods and linking critical spots in supply chain, logistics has an important role in economy. Buyers and customers require greater speed, accuracy and reliability. Additionally, environmental requirements have higher standards that need to be respected, especially in the area of transport. Constant development of technic and technology should not be ignored since it is included in all areas, from resources used in working process to information and communication technology. So, through history logistics has also making its process of developing and adapting to be more efficient. Intermodal transport is a way of transportation that meets modern speed, safety and environmental requirements. Many studies and papers in which impact of logistics to intermodal transport and reverse and connection between them were made. Based on them, there are some solutions that apply on real processes.
