Abstract

U završnom radu pod naslovom "Analiza biciklističkog prometa u gradu Puli" provedena
je analiza postojeće biciklističke infrastrukture. U radu su prikazane osnovne karakteristike
biciklističkog prometa, od povijesnog razvoja bicikla do moderne primjene u urbanim
sredinama.. Provedena je detaljna analiza trenutnog stanja biciklističkih prometnica na
području grada Pule, uključujući terensko istraživanje i anketno istraživanje građana. Na
temelju prikupljenih podataka predložene su mjere za poboljšanje biciklističke infrastrukture,
s ciljem povećanja sigurnosti i poticanja korištenja bicikla kao održivog oblika prijevoza u gradu.
Što također uključuje pregled biciklističkog cikloturizma i ulogu Pule unutar šire europske
biciklističke mreže.

Abstract (english)

In the final thesis titled "Analysis of Bicycle Traffic in the City of Pula," an analysis of the
existing cycling infrastructure was conducted. The paper presents the basic characteristics of
bicycle traffic, from the historical development of the bicycle to its modern use in urban
environments. A detailed analysis of the current state of bicycle lanes in the city of Pula was
carried out, including field research and a survey of citizens. Based on the collected data,
measures were proposed to improve the cycling infrastructure, with the aim of increasing
safety and promoting the use of bicycles as a sustainable mode of transportation in the city.
The thesis also includes an overview of bicycle tourism and Pula's role within the broader
European cycling network.
