Abstract

Ovaj rad istražuje razvoj, infrastrukturu, prednosti i nedostatke električnih autobusa, s posebnim naglaskom na njihov utjecaj na održivi razvoj. Električni autobusi predstavljaju važnu komponentu modernog javnog prijevoza zbog svojih ekoloških i ekonomskih prednosti. U radu se analiziraju povijesni razvoj električnih autobusa, trenutačna infrastruktura za punjenje i tehnologije baterija, te prednosti i nedostaci koje donose. Posebna pažnja posvećena je smanjenju štetnog utjecaja na okoliš i problemima reciklaže baterija. Povijesni razvoj električnih autobusa obuhvaća razdoblje od ranih pokušaja do suvremenih tehnoloških napredaka. Infrastruktura potrebna za električne autobuse uključuje punionice, održavanje i logistiku, s posebnim naglaskom na tehnologiju baterija, njihove karakteristike, kapacitete i izazove. Analiziraju se prednosti, poput smanjenja emisija i nižih operativnih troškova, te nedostaci, kao što su visoki početni troškovi i ograničeni doseg. Utjecaj električnih autobusa na održivi razvoj uključuje smanjenje štetnih emisija i doprinos klimatskim ciljevima, kao i važnost i metode reciklaže baterija za minimiziranje negativnog ekološkog utjecaja. Cilj rada je pružiti sveobuhvatan pregled i evaluaciju električnih autobusa kao održivog rješenja za javni prijevoz.

Abstract (english)

This paper explores the development, infrastructure, advantages and disadvantages of electric buses, with a particular focus on their impact on sustainable development. Electric buses represent an important component of modern public transport due to their environmental and economic advantages. The paper analyzes the historical development of electric buses, the current charging infrastructure and battery technologies, and the advantages and disadvantages they bring. Special attention is paid to reducing the harmful impact on the environment and the problems of battery recycling. The historical development of electric buses spans the period from early attempts to modern technological advances. The infrastructure required for electric buses includes charging stations, maintenance and logistics, with a special focus on battery technology, their characteristics, capacities and challenges. Advantages, such as reduced emissions and lower operating costs, and disadvantages, such as high initial costs and limited reach, are analyzed. The impact of electric buses on sustainable development includes reducing harmful emissions and contributing to climate goals, as well as the importance and methods of battery recycling to minimize negative environmental impact. The aim of the paper is to provide a comprehensive overview and evaluation of electric buses as a sustainable solution for public transport.
