Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad opisuje i analizira transportnu mrežu i optimizaciju ruta u kontekstu paketne dostave u Republici Hrvatskoj. Naglasak je stavljen na analizu postojećeg sustava paketne dostave, posebno kroz skup usluga koje pruža Hrvatska Pošta. Kroz detaljnu analizu postojećeg procesa, identificirane su mogućnosti poboljšanja i napretka u efikasnosti i optimizaciji sustava.
Korištenjem metodologija iz područja logistike i operacijskog istraživanja, predložena je nova transportna mreža za sustav paketne dostave. Ovaj prijedlog uključuje optimizaciju ruta kako bi se minimizirali troškovi i vrijeme dostave, uz istovremeno povećanje kvalitete usluge. Nova transportna mreža temelji se na analizi potreba tržišta, geografskih karakteristika tehnoloških mogućnosti i očekivanja krajnjih korisnika. Nadalje, rad pruža detaljnu usporedbu između postojeće transportne mreže Hrvatske Pošte i predložene nove mreže. Ova usporedba obuhvaća različite ključne parametre kao što su vrijeme dostave, troškovi, pokrivenost područja i ekološki utjecaji.
Svi ulazni podaci za izračun koji su korišteni u ovome radu dobiveni su od Hrvatske Pošte.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes and analyzes the transport network and route optimization in the context of parcel delivery in the Republic of Croatia. The emphasis is places on analyzing the existing parcel delivery system, particularly through the range of services provided by the Hrvatska pošta. Through a detailed analysis of the existing process, opportunities for improvement and progress in efficiency and system optimization have been identified.
By utilizing methodologies from the fields of logistics and operations research, the new transport network for the parcel delivery system is proposed. This proposal includes route optimization to minimize costs and delivery time while simultaneously enhancing service quality. The new transport network is based on an analysis of market needs, geographical characteristics, technological capabilities, and end – user expectations. Furthermore, the thesis provides a detailed comparison between the existing transport network of the Croatian post Hrvatska pošta and the proposed new network. This comparison encompasses various key parameters such as delivery time, costs, area coverage and environmental impacts.
All input data for calculations used in this thesis were obtained from the Croatian post Hrvatska pošta.
