Abstract

Upravljanje prijevozom podrazumijeva optimizaciju ruta, izbor prijevoznih sredstava te upotrebu tehnologije za praćenje i nadzor. Optimizacijom postojećih ruta moguće je smanjiti troškove prijevoza kao i vrijeme isporuke. Također, poduzeće mora odabrati prikladna vozila i prijevoznike koji će se moći nositi s različitim vrstama i dimenzijama robe te osigurati njihovu sigurnu dostavu na odredište. Kvalitetni vozni park i pouzdani prijevoznici ključni su za uspješno upravljanje prijevozom. Primjena tehnoloških rješenja poput GPS sustava od iznimne je važnosti jer omogućuje praćenje i nadzor robe tijekom cijelog transportnog procesa. U radu je analizirano kako poduzeće određuje način prijevoza , koji kriteriji i parametri su uključeni u odluku, te da li će se prijevoz obaviti vlastitim voznim parkom ili angažiranjem vanjskog prijevoznika . S tim u svezi, prikazane su mogućnosti unapređenja upravljanja prijevozom, u cilju racionalizacije prijevoznih troškova i povećanja učinkovitosti prijevoza.

Abstract (english)

Transport management involves route optimization, vehicle selection, and the use of technology for tracking and monitoring. By optimizing existing routes, it is possible to reduce transportation costs and delivery time. Additionally, the company must choose suitable vehicles and carriers capable of handling various types and dimensions of goods, ensuring their safe delivery to the destination. A high-quality fleet and reliable carriers are crucial for successful transportation management. The implementation of technological solutions, such as GPS systems, is of utmost importance as it enables tracking and monitoring of goods throughout the entire transportation process. The thesis analyzes how the company determines the transportation method, which criteria and parameters are included in the decision, and whether the transportation will be carried out using the company's own fleet or by hiring an external transporter. In this regard, possibilities for improving transportation management are presented, with the aim of rationalizing transportation costs and increasing transportation efficiency.
