Abstract

Ovim radom analizirat će se karakteristike robno-transportnih centara koje mogu unaprijediti učinkovitost gradskog teretnog prijevoza. Rad će se usredotočiti na strategije alternativnih rješenja za gradski teretni prijevoz i gradsku logistiku, u smislu implementacija robno-transportnih centara. Objasnit će se pojmovi gradske logistike, opskrbnih lanaca, proces gradskog planiranja prijevoza tereta i utjecaj implementacije robno-transportnih centara na iste, uz nekoliko primjera uspješno implementiranih gradskih robno-transportnih centara u Europi.

Abstract (english)

This paper will analyze whether cargo-transport centers have characteristics that can improve the efficiency of urban freight transport. The main focus of this paper will focus on the strategies and alternative solutions for urban freight transport and urban logistics, in terms of the implementation of cargo-transport centers. The concepts of urban logistics, supply chains, the process of urban freight transport planning and how the implementation of cargo-transport centers affects them will be explained, along with several examples of successfully implemented urban cargo-transport centers in Europe.
