Abstract

Ovim završnim radom opisana je procedura otpreme i prihvata putnika u zračnom prometu korištenjem programa One ID koji predlaže Međunarodno udruženje zračnih prijevoznika (engl. International Air Transport Association - IATA). IATA je razvila ideju o implementaciji biometrijske identifikacije u svrhu bržeg i jednostavnijeg odvijanja procesa prihvata i otpreme putnika u zračnom prometu koja zamjenjuje tradicionalno identificiranje putnika osobnim iskaznicama, putovnicama i vizama čekanjem u redu ispred šaltera. Implementacijom One ID programa nastoji se pojednostaviti proces otpreme i prihvata. Integriranim upravljanjem identitetom i primjenom biometrijske identifikacije putniku se pruža mogućnost da unaprijed potvrdi svoj identitet, online ili osobno, do potrebne razine u svakom koraku procesa putovanja u zračnom prometu, a pritom se zadržava privatnost osobnih podataka. Primjenom One ID programa smanjile bi se gužve na uskim grlima u procesu prihvata i otpreme putnika i prtljage, povećala bi se razina usluge te putničko zadovoljstvo putovanjem. U radu je objašnjen koncept primjene One ID programa, opisane su tehnologije biometrijske identifikacije putnika koje se odnose na skeniranje lica, dlana, otisak prsta, skeniranje šarenice, analizu DNK, identifikaciju glasa te multimodalnu biometriju dok su u posljednjem poglavlju dani primjeri koji se odnose na biometrijsku identifikaciju putnika na pojedinim zračnim lukama.

Abstract (english)

This final paper describes the handling and air transport procedures using the One ID program, as proposed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). IATA developed the idea of biometric identification in air transport in order to make the process of passenger handling procedures in air transport faster, thus replacing the traditional identification of passengers with identity cards, passports and visas by waiting in line in front of the counter. The implementation of One ID program also aims to simplify the handling and air transport procedures. Integrated identity management and the use of biometric identification provide the passenger with the opportunity to confirm their identity in advance, online or personally, to the required level at each step of the air travel process, while maintaining the privacy of personal data. Applying the One ID program in handling procedures of passengers would reduce congestion and increase the quality of service and the level of passenger satisfaction. This paper explains the concept of applying the program and describes the technology of biometric passenger identification related to the unique characteristics of the human body such as fingerprint, hand geometry, irises, face geometry, DNK analysis, voice identification and multimodal biometric. The last chapter provides specific examples related to the biometric identification of passengers at certain airports.
