Ubrzan razvoj cestovnog prometa, osim pozitivnih učinaka na razvoj gospodarstva, ima i niz negativnih. Jedan od negativnih učinaka su prometne nesreće, odnosno broj poginulih, koji ukazuje na stanje sigurnosti cestovnog prometa. Accelerated development of road traffic, in addition to the positive effects on economic development, has a number of negative ones. One of the negative effects is traffic accidents, ie the number of fatalities, which indicates the state of road safety. In order to increase road safety, it is necessary to identify and rehabilitate dangerous places.
