Abstract

Napretkom informacijskih tehnologija poduzećima je olakšano upravljanje distribucijskim sustavima te dovodi do poboljšanja usluge i smanjenja troškova distribucije. Temeljni zadatak distribucije je da omogući sigurne, brze i racionalne tokove roba odnosno da prostorno i vremenski usklađuje proizvodnju i potrošnju. Korištenjem suvremenih računalnih marketing alata, informacijska tehnologija predstavlja jedno od polazišta funkcioniranja kanala na globalnom planu. Prilikom višekanalne distribucije robe, svaki kanal predstavlja dodatni put robe do krajnjeg potrošača. Dostupnost proizvoda u više kanala omogućuje pružanje usluge kakvu današnji sve zahtjevniji potrošači traže. Kako bi poduzeće ostvarilo maksimalni potencijal kroz višekanalni distribucijski sustav potrebno je razumjeti složenost takvog sustava.

Abstract (english)

Improvement of IT, enables companies to manage distribution systems, improves service level and reduces distribution costs. The main distribution task is to provide safe, fast and rational goods flow respectively distribution needs spatially and temporally to harmonize production and consumption. Using modern computer marketing tools, IT is one of the starting points for channel functioning on a global scale. When a company distribute goods through more channels, each channel represents an additional way for goods to reach the end customer. The product availability through more channels provide the service level that today's increasingly demanding consumers are looking for. In order to maximize the potential of a company through a multi-channel distribution system, it is necessary to understand the complexity of such a system.
