Abstract

Europska Unija kroz svoju prometnu politiku ima za cilj transformaciju europskih prometnica u integriranu prometnu mrežu koja obuhvaća sve države članice. Integrirani urbani razvoj usmjerava gradove na njihova funkcionalna urbana područja te na njihov okolni ruralni prostor stvarajući urbano-ruralne veze. Potrebno je poticati razvoj i korištenje mreža javnog prijevoza a u funkciji regionalnog, gradskog i prigradskog prometa većih gradova. Poboljšanje mobilnosti uz smanjenje preopterećenosti prometnica, nezgoda i zagađenja zajednički je izazov za gradove i regije. Grad Zagreb pripada u funkcionalnu prometnu regiju Središnja Hrvatska, koja obzirom na geografski položaj ima istaknutu ulogu u prometnoj mreži Republike Hrvatske i Europe. Potiče se razvoj željeznice kao ekološki , energetski i ekonomsko prihvatljiv urbani transport na području Grada Zagreba i okruženja. U radu analizirana je željeznička infrastruktura u prostornim planovima Grada Zagreba, te je dan prikaz poboljšanja uvjeta za odvijanje gradskog i prigradskog prometa na području Grada Zagreba i okruženja kroz realizirane i projekte u tijeku, te razvojne planove za daljnji razvitak željezničke infrastrukture.

Abstract (english)

The European Union, through its transport policy, aims to transform European roads into an integrated transport network covering all Member States. Integrated urban development directs cities to their functional urban areas and their surrounding rural areas by creating urban-rural links. It is necessary to encourage the development and use of public transport networks in the function of regional, urban and suburban traffic of larger cities. Improving mobility by reducing overburdening traffic, accidents and pollution is a common challenge for cities and regions. The City of Zagreb is part of the functional traffic region of Central Croatia, which in terms of geographic position has a prominent role in the transport network of the Republic of Croatia and Europe. The development of railways is encouraged as ecologically, energetically and economically acceptable urban transport in the area of the City of Zagreb and its surroundings. In this seminar we analyze the railway infrastructure in the spatial plans of the City of Zagreb, and presents an overview of the conditions for conducting urban and suburban traffic in the area of the City of Zagreb and the environment through realized and ongoing projects and development plans for further development of the railway infrastructure.
