Abstract

Upravljanje opskrbnog lanca je proces učinkovite integracije proizvođača, dobavljača, skladišta i kupaca, tako da je proizvedena roba distribuirana u optimalnim količinama, na pravom mjestu i u pravo vrijeme kako bi se smanjili troškovi cijelog sustava, a zadovoljila krajnja usluga. To je veoma bitno u farmaceutskoj industriji, gdje zalihe većinom čini roba ograničenog vijeka trajanja. Neki proizvodi nakon izvjesnog vremena gube svoja svojstva ili izazivaju kemijske reakcije, koje mogu biti opasne po čovjeka.Zbog toga je potrebna kvalitetna prognoza potražnje kako bi se smanjili gubici u proizvodnji. U radu je opisan distributivni lanac tvrtke „Abbott laboratories“ do Hrvatske te je prikazana analiza povijesnih podataka pojedinih proizvoda koji su korišteni za prognoziranje potražnje primjenom različitih metoda prognoziranja.

Abstract (english)

Supply chain management is the process of efficiently integratingmanufacturers, suppliers, warehouses and buyers so that produced merchandise is distributed in optimal quantities, to the right places in the right time to minimize costs while satisfyingcustomers. That isreally important in the pharmaceutical industry where the stock is usually perishable items. Some products after a period of time lose their characteristics or cause a chemical reaction, which can be dangerous to humans. This paper describes the chain distribution of the company „Abbott laboratories“ to Croatia and analyses historical data of some products which are used for demand forecasting by using different methods of forecasting.
