Abstract

U ovome radu su obrađeni svi dijelovi lanca dostave paketa. Posebno su definirani pojmovi kao što su direktna i indirektna distribucija, kanali distribucije, cross docking. Također, u radu su detaljno opisani logističko-distributivni centri, koji imaju središnju ulogu u cijelom procesu distribucije paketa. U drugom dijelu rada je prikazan proces distribucije u tvrtki Overseas Express, koja je jedna od vodećih tvrtki u Republici Hrvatskoj u tom sektoru. Detaljno su prikazani svi dijelovi tog procesa, i kako Overseas Express uspijeva sve te procese uskladiti i obaviti u jako kratkome roku. Te je također prikazan Overseasov logističko-distributivni centar u kojem ta tvrtka organizira sve logističke procese.

Abstract (english)

This paper analyzes every part of process of parcel delivery. It specially define terms such as direct and indirect distribution, distribution channel, cross docking. Also, this paper describes logistic-distribution centres. Logistic-distribution centres have central role in entire process of parcel delivery. Second part ot this paper analyzes process of parcel delivery in Overseas Express. Overseas Express is one of the leading companies in Croatia in that sector. It is analyzed every part of that process, and how Overseas Express coordinate every part of that process in short period of time. Also, it is shortly analyzed Overseas´s logistic-distribution center.
