Abstract

Jedan od najboljih načina povećanja sigurnosti u cestovnom prometu, tj. smanjenja broja prometnih nesreća, je identifikacija i sanacija cestovnih segmenata na prometnoj mreži s izrazito visokom razinom rizika za nastanak prometne nesreće, odnosno tzv. opasnih mjesta. Kako bi se provela uspješna identifikacija opasnih mjesta, kao prvo potrebno je raspolagati s kvalitetnim podacima o prometnim nesrećama, a zatim i odabrati odgovarajuću metodu identifikacije. More opasnih mjesta, za istraživanje provedeno u ovom radu, odabrana je Rate Quality Control metoda, odnosno statistička metoda koja na temelju broja prometnih nesreća te prometnog opterećenja na promatranoj lokaciji određuje kritičnu razinu nastanka prometnih nesreća. Za potrebe ovog rada, kao referentna cesta za identifikaciju opasnih mjesta, odabrana je najopasnija državna cesta u Republici Hrvatskoj, odnosno državna cesta D8. U sklopu procesa identifikacije opasnih mjesta na odabranoj cesti, provedeno je statističko ispitivanje opasnosti prethodno definiranih lokacija koje su zatim rangirane prema stupnju opasnosti i detaljno analizirane prema definiranim kriterijima. Abstract (english)

One of the best ways for increasing road traffic safety, especially reducing the number of traffic accidents, is identification and remediation of road segments on the transport network with an extremely high level of risk for traffic accident occurrence, or so-called hazardous locations. In order to accomplish a successful identification of hazardous locations, it is necessary to have access to high-quality traffic accidents database, as well as to select the appropriate identification... For the research conducted in this paper, Rate Quality Control method, i.e. a statistical method that determines the critical level of traffic accident occurrence based on the number of traffic accidents and traffic load at the observed location, has been selected as a relevant method for the identification of hazardous locations. The most dangerous state road in the Republic of Croatia, with official designation State Road D8, was selected as the reference road. In the process of identifying hazardous locations, a statistical examination of danger level was performed on previously defined locations, which have later been ranked according to the degree of danger as well as analyzed in detail conforming to the defined criteria.
