Abstract

Kako tehnologija svakim danom sve više napreduje javlja se potreba za zamjenom zastarjelih metoda brojanja prometa suvremenijim metodama. U ovom diplomskom radu izradit će se aplikacija za brojanje prometa putem pametnih telefona i tableta koja će predstavljati alternativu tradicionalnim metodama brojanja prometa. Obradit će se pristupi i problemi svih metoda brojanja prometa, zahtjevi koje aplikacija mora zadovoljiti kako bi ispunjavala svoju svrhu te arhitektura aplikacije. Nadalje objasnit će se kako je aplikacija implementirana te će se prikazati rezultati dobiveni probnim brojanjem prometa. Svrha rada je prikazati poboljšanja u prikupljanju i naknadnoj obradi podataka primjenom razvijene aplikacije, dok je cilj približavanje suvremenih mobilnih tehnologija, razmjene podataka definirane okvirima i računalstva u oblaku te prikaz mogućnosti njihove primjene u analizi postojećeg stanja mjernog mjesta.

Abstract (english)

As technology becomes more and more progressive, there is a need to replace obsolete traffic counting methods with more modern ones. In this graduate thesis, a traffic counting application that counts vehicles via smart phones and tablets will be created. It will represent an alternative to traditional traffic counting methods. The approaches and problems of all traffic counting methods will be discussed as well as the requirements that the application must meet to fulfill its purpose. Furthermore, application architecture will also be processed. It will also be explained how the application is implemented and the results obtained from test traffic counting will be displayed. The purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate improvements in the gathering and subsequent processing of data using a developed application, while the goal is bringing modern mobile technologies closer to the user, framed data exchange and cloud computing, as well as demonstrating the possibilities of their application in the analysis of the current state of the measuring location.
