Abstract

Pomorski robni tokovi čine gotovo 70 % ukupne svjetske robne razmjene. Upravo su robni tokovi ključni za razvoj pojedinih luka. Zbog svog vrlo povoljnog geoprometnog položaja, sjevernojadranske luke predstavljaju izvrsnu poveznicu velikog Europskog tržišta s zemljama Dalekog Istoka gdje se stvaraju robni tokovi. No trenutno stanje je takvo da pojedine sjevernojadranske luke imaju financijske poteškoće, pa u manjoj mjeri iskorištavaju svoj položaj. Brojne razvojne mogućnosti se nude ovim lukama. Međutim, kao alternativa nameću se sjevernoeuropske luke, koje su među boljima u svijetu. Upravo preko tih luka se odvija većina robnih razmjena prema Europi. Kvalitetne strategije razvoja i ulaganje u infrastrukturu samih luka, doprinijeti će i konkurentnosti luka na svjetskoj razini.

Abstract (english)

Maritime cargo flows account for almost 70% of total world trade. Cargo flows are crucial for the development of individual ports. Due to its favorable geographic position, North Adriatic ports represent an excellent link the large European market with countries of the Far East where they form cargo flows. But the current situation is such that some North Adriatic ports have financial difficulties, but to a lesser extent exploit their position. A number of development opportunities offered by these port. However, as an alternative to imposing the Northern European ports, which are among the best in the world. Through these ports is carried out most of the commodity exchange to Europe. Quality development strategy and investment in infrastructure of ports themselves, will contribute to the competitiveness of the ports at the global level.
