Abstract
Robno transportni centar je suvremeni kompleks transportnih terminala zatvorenih i otvorenih specijaliziranih i univerzalnih skladišta koji su smješteni u blizini velikih industrijskih centara, velikih prometnih čvorišta, velikih morskih luka i velikih ranžirnih kolodvora.Oni predstavljaju točke optimalne raspodjele unutar transportnog lanca. U ovome radu definira se pojam robno transportnog centra, kriteriji i čimbenici koje je potrebno zadovoljiti kako bi se odredila optimalna lokacija za smještaj centra. Opisani su robno transportni centri u Bremenu i Veroni teje opisan njihov utjecaj na uže išire gravitacijsko područje. Prikazane su i detaljno opisane matematičke metode koje se koriste u odabiru optimalne lokacije.Od skupine kvantitativnih metoda odabrane su dvije, metoda centra gravitacije i metoda medijana. Opisan je njihov tok izvođenja, te objašnjen na jednostavnom primjeru. Opisane su metode višekriterijskog odlučivanja, AHP, Electre i Promethee.Sve tri metode temelje se na usporedbi zadanih kriterija i alternativa, no sam tok izvođenja je različit za svaku. Prikazana je primjena svake od metoda na jednostavnom primjeru.

Logistics center is a modern complex of transport terminals, closed and opened specialized and universal storage facilities that are located near major industrial centers, transport hubs, large sea ports and large marshaling yards. They represent the point of optimal allocation within the transport chain. This paper defines the concept of logistics centers, the criteria and the factors that must be satisfied in order to determine optimal locations for the center. It also describes the logistics centers in Bremen and Venlo and they affect on the immediate and wider gravitation area. This paper also shows and describes in detail the mathematical methods used in the selection of an optimal location. From the group of the quantitative methods, two have been chosen: the center of gravity method and the median method. The course of their execution has been described and explained on a simple example. The methods of multi-criteria decision-making, AHP, Electre and Promethee are described. All of the three methods are based on a comparison of set criteria and alternatives, but the course of the execution is different for each one of them. It has been shown the application of each method on a simple example.
