Abstract
Ovim završnim radom opisuje se rad mlaznih motora i pojedinačno komponente optočnog mlaznog motora na primjeru motora CFM56-5B, koji se između ostalih koristi na zrakoplovu Airbus A320. Također u ovom radu opisan je jednoliki ustaljeni let zrakoplova, te u tom režimu leta postavljene su jednadžbe, odnosno matematički model optočnog mlaznog motora. Matematički model služi za izračun performansi motora u projektnim i izvanprojektnim režimima rada.

Parallel abstract (English)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the jet engine and its functioning in general, as well as to represent the single components of the turbofan. The components will be elaborated on the example of CFM56-5B engine which is, among all others, used on the Airbus A320. Furthermore, the paper illustrates the steady flight of the aircraft. In that precise flight mode equations are set, i.e. the mathematical model of the turbofan. The mathematical model is used for engine performance calculation in both design operating mode and in condition of operation.
