Abstract
Održavanje je nužno za sustav kako bi izvršavao svoje funkcije jednako dobro tijekom čitavog životnog ciklusa. E-održavanje predstavlja modernu verziju održavanja koja nije još u potpunosti razvijena, a koja je spoj starih metoda održavanja sa informacijsko komunikacijskim tehnologijama. Ključna stvar kod e-održavanja je da se sustav uz pomoć raznih senzora i aplikacija kontorolira preko Interneta. Na taj način su sve informacije i radni zahtjevi dostupni na jednom mjestu, kontrola sustava je moguća u svakom trenutku što predstavlja značajne uštede u ekonomskom smislu.

Maintenance is necessary for the system to enable the same efficiency during the whole system lifecycle. E-maintenance represents the modern version of maintenance, that integrates old methods of maintenance, with information communication technologies, but is still developing. With all types of sensors and applications, everything is monitored over the Internet. Thereby, all informations and work requirements are available anytime on-line and that means enormous economic benefits.
