Abstract
Vizualna navigacija pilotu omogućava lako i brzo određivanje položaja svog zrakoplova, ukoliko se pilot zna služiti pravilnim postupcima i procedurama. Ova vrsta određivanja i praćenja položaja zrakoplova prisutna je od samih početaka zrakoplovstva i tokom godina se nastavljala razvijati. Zanimljivo bi bilo znati podatak da li dan danas piloti rade greške u nečemu što je prihvatljivo bilo za pogriješiti od pionira zrakoplovstva. U ovom radu će biti obrađeni i analizirani uzroci nesreća jednomotornih klipnih zrakoplova povezanih s vizualnom navigacijom. Biti će opisani postupci vezani za vizualno letenje, definirani očekivani uzroci takvih nesreća te analizirani podaci koji će dati zaključke i potrebne preporuke. Iako je zrakoplovna nesreća sama po sebi nepoželjan događaj koji stvara ugrozu ljudskih života i imovine, ista ta nesreća je pouka i edukacija te pripomoć u daljnoj prevenciji i radu na sprečavanju istih. Cilj cijele zrakoplovne industrije jest dovesti broj nesreća na najmanju moguću mjeru jer je potpuno iskorijenje nesreća utopija.

Visual navigation enables a pilot to easily and quickly determine the position of his aircraft, if the pilot knows how to use the correct processes and procedures. This way of aircraft's position determining and following was presented from the beginnings of aviation and continued to develope throughout the years. It would be interesting to know the fact if even today pilots do same mistakes in something that was acceptable for mistake making from aviation pioneers. This paper will present elaboration and analysis of single engine piston aircraft accident causes related to visual navigation. Procedures related to visual flying will be described as well as defining expected accident causes and analysis of data which will then provide conclusions and required recommendations. Although aviation accident alone is an undisered event that endangers people's lives and property, that same accident is a lesson and education in further accident prevention. The goal of the whole aviation industry is to minimize the number of accidents beacuse accident eradication is an utopia.
