Abstract

Intenzivni tehnološki napredak, globalni rast stanovništva i stalna urbanizacija
uzrokuju povećanje količine otpada i potrebu za učinkovitim sustavima upravljanja. Kao dio
zelene logistike i aktivnosti povratne logistike, gospodarenje otpadom igra ključnu ulogu u
smanjenju količine otpada koji završava na odlagalištima. Različiti pravilnici i zakoni reguliraju
sustav upravljanja otpadom, dajući smjernice za izbor odgovarajućih sustava i planova. Svi
oblici otpada, uključujući neželjene i odbačene proizvode, trebaju se zbrinuti na prihvatljiv
način. Povećanje ekološke svijesti može se postići kroz učinkovito planiranje, koje zahtijeva
odabir odgovarajućih modela i sustava upravljanja otpadom.

Abstract (english)

Intensive technological progress, global population growth and constant urbanization
are leading to an increase in the amount of waste and a need for efficient management systems.
As part of green logistics and reverse logistics, waste management plays a key role in reducing
the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. Various regulations and laws govern waste
management and provide guidelines for the selection of appropriate systems and plans. All
types of waste, including unwanted and discarded products, should be disposed of in an
acceptable manner. An increase in environmental awareness can be achieved through effective
planning, which requires the selection of appropriate waste management models and systems.
