Abstract

Ovaj završni rad istražuje utjecaj autonomnih i povezanih umreženih vozila na prometne
tokove na autocestama, s posebnim fokusom na dionicu Zagreb-Karlovac. U radu se analiziraju
različiti aspekti prometnog sustava, uključujući vrijeme putovanja, gustoću prometa, brzinu
vožnje, protok vozila, emisije štetnih plinova, potrošnju goriva i električne energije, te
sigurnost u prometu kroz vrijeme slijeđenja. Simulacije su pokazale da povećanje udjela
autonomnih vozila može poboljšati... More protočnost prometa, smanjiti emisije i potrošnju energije,
te povećati sigurnost u prometu. Međutim, potrebno je naglasiti da su rezultati dobiveni na
autocesti, gdje su prometni tokovi jednostavniji nego u gradskim sredinama, te da je potrebna
daljnja analiza kako bi se razumjeli učinci mješovitih tokova cestovnih vozila u složenijim
gradskim okruženjima. Ovaj rad pruža osnovu za buduće istraživanje i razvoj prometnih
sustava s autonomnim vozilima, sa ciljem postizanja sigurnijeg, učinkovitijeg i ekološki
prihvatljivijeg cestovnog prometa. Less

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores the impact of autonomous and connected autonomous vehicles on traffic
flows on motorways, focusing on the Zagreb-Karlovac section. The study analyzes various
aspects of the traffic system, including travel time, traffic density, driving speed, vehicle
throughput, emissions of harmful gases, fuel and electricity consumption, and traffic safety
through following distance. Simulations indicated that increasing in the share of autonomous
vehicles can improve... More traffic flow, reduce emissions and energy consumption, and enhance
road safety. However, it must be emphasized that the results were obtained on a motorway,
where traffic flows are simpler than urban environments, highlighting the need for further
analysis to understand the effects of mixed traffic flows of road vehicles in more complex
urban settings. This work provides a foundation for future research and development of traffic
systems with autonomous vehicles, aiming to achieve safer, more efficient, and
