Abstract

U posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća, suvremeni trendovi u razvoju prometnih planova usmjereni su na održivost, integraciju različitih prijevoznih sredstava i tehnološke inovacije. U kontekstu urbanizacije i rastuće svijesti o klimatskim promjenama, planeri gradova naglašavaju važnost smanjenja emisija štetnih plinova te poticanje korištenja javnog prijevoza, biciklizma i pješačenja. Razvoj pametnih prometnih sustava, koji uključuju napredne tehnologije poput IoT-a (Internet of Things) i autonomnih vozila, omogućava optimizaciju prometnih tokova, smanjenje zagušenja i povećanje sigurnosti na cestama. Također, digitalizacija planiranja prometa uz pomoć Big Data analize pomaže u stvaranju preciznijih i učinkovitijih rješenja koja odgovaraju na specifične izazove pojedinih gradova. S druge strane, sve veći fokus stavlja se na participativno planiranje, gdje se građani aktivno uključuju u donošenje odluka o prometnim rješenjima, čime se povećava prihvaćanje planova i poboljšava kvaliteta života u zajednicama. Integracija zelene infrastrukture, poput biciklističkih staza, električnih punionica i zelenih zona, postaje ključna komponenta suvremenih prometnih planova. Također, multinodalna povezanost, koja omogućava jednostavne prijelaze između različitih vrsta prijevoza, od javnih autobusa do vlakova i bicikala, doprinosi većoj fleksibilnosti i održivosti prometnih sustava. Ovi trendovi predstavljaju prekretnicu u razvoju prometa, gdje ekološki i tehnološki aspekti zajedno oblikuju budućnost urbanih područja.

Abstract (english)

In recent decades, contemporary trends in transportation planning have focused on sustainability, the integration of various modes of transport, and technological innovation. In the context of urbanization and growing awareness of climate change, city planners emphasize the importance of reducing harmful gas emissions and promoting the use of public transport, cycling, and walking. The development of smart transportation systems, which include advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and autonomous vehicles, enables the optimization of traffic flow, reduction of congestion, and increased road safety. Additionally, the digitalization of traffic planning through Big Data analysis helps create more precise and efficient solutions tailored to the specific challenges of individual cities. On the other hand, there is an increasing focus on participatory planning, where citizens are actively involved in decision-making regarding traffic solutions, which enhances the acceptance of plans and improves the quality of life in communities. The integration of green infrastructure, such as bike lanes, electric charging stations, and green zones, is becoming a key component of modern transportation plans. Also, multimodal connectivity, which allows for seamless transitions between different modes of transport, from public buses to trains and bicycles, contributes to greater flexibility and sustainability of transportation systems. These trends mark a turning point in traffic development, where ecological and technological aspects together shape the future of urban areas.
