Abstract
U ovome radu provedena je analiza vremena čekanja paketa u čvoru višeuslužne mreže u ovisnosti o prosječnoj duljini paketa i njihovom broju, kapacitetu odlaznog kanala te primijenjenoj discipline dodjele kapaciteta. Za potrebe ove analize napravljena je simulacija rada čvora višeuslužne mreže za slučajeve ako su u njemu implementirane tri različite strategije dodjele kapaciteta: First Come First Served (FCFS), Priority Queuing (PQ) i Round Robin (RR) Temeljem proračuna vremena trajanja i vremena završetka posluživanja svakog pristiglog paketa, koji su najprije svrstani u četiri klase prometa, izračunato je vrijeme čekanja svakog paketa kao i prosječne vrijednosti i standardna odstupanja. Nakon ovih analiza uspoređene su performanse čvora ukoliko se primjenjuju različite strategije dodjele kapaciteta.

In this thesis an analysis of package waiting times in the multi-service network node has been conducted, depending on the average package length and their number, capacity of the outgoing link and the applied discipline for the capacity allocation. For the purpose of this analysis a simulation of multi-service network node has been performed. The performances of the node were analyzed in cases when three different capacity allocation strategies were implemented: First Come First Served (FCFS), Priority Queuing (PQ) and Round Robin (RR). After deriving service time of each package (which were first classified into four traffic classes) as well as their exit times, the waiting time of each packet has been calculated. Furthermore, the average waiting time values and standard deviations are also calculated. After this analysis, performances of the node were compared between different capacity allocation strategies.
