Abstract
Aeroprofil je oblik tijela koje će u strujanju oko njega stvarati uzgon uz relativno mali otpor. Kod povećane brzine leta dolazi do promjena kao što su udarni valovi, zvučna barijera, odvajanje strujnica i slom uzgona. Također dolazi do promjena na tlaku, uzgonu i otporu aeroprofila te dolazi do formiranja Machovih, kosih, odvojenih, povijenih te ekspanzijskih udarnih valova. Pri povećanim brzinama leta najčešće se upotrebljavaju zrakoplovi sa delta krilima, strelastim krilima te obrnutim strelastim krilima kako bi se spriječilo pomicanje aerodinamičkog centra pri prijelazu iz podzvučnog u nadzvučno područje leta i stvaranje udarnih valova. Strelasta krila stvaraju manje otpora, ali su nestabilnija pri manjim brzinama. Delta krila zbog svog dizajna omogućavaju slijetanje pri velikim brzinama te dostizanje velikih brzina.

Airfoil is a body shape that will create lift in airflow around it with a relatively low resistance. At increased air speed occur changes, such as shockwaves, sound barrier, separation of streamlines and stall. High speeds also lead to changes in pressure, lift and drag of the airfoil and also the formation of Mach’s waves, oblique, separated, bow and expansion shockwaves. In order to prevent dislocation of center of the pressure and the formation of shockwaves in moving from subsonic to supersonic speed special wings are used, such as delta wings, swept wings and forward swept wings. Swept wings create less drag, but are somewhat more unstable at low speeds. Delta wings, because of it's design, allows fast landing speeds and reaching of high flight speeds.
