Abstract

Od svog začetka, 2008. godine, blockchain pokazuje veliki potencijal za primjenu u različitim sektorima, od financijskog i bankarskog sektora pa sve do logistike i transporta. Blockchan dobiva sve više važnosti iz dana u dan. Ova tehnologija je ponajviše postala popularna iz rastuće potrebe za transparentnim sustavima i većom razinom sigurnosti. Neke od najvećih svjetskih korporacija, poput Wal-Marta, Maerska i IBM-a su uvidjeli važnosti i potencijal blockchaina te su investirali značajna sredstva u razvoj ove tehnologije. Unutar logističkog sektora blockchain pruža brojne prednosti. Počevši od veće transparentnosti i mogućnosti dijeljenja informacija unutar opskrbnog lanca, smanjenja grešaka, lakšeg praćenja paketa te onemogućavanja manipulacije informacijama. Dakle, predmet ovog rada je mogućnost primjene blockchain tehnologije u logističkim sustavima. Detaljnije će se opisati blockchain tehnologija, moguća primjena, trenutna primjena te opće značajke logističkih sustava.

Abstract (english)

From its very beginning, in 2008, blockchain shows great potential for application in various sectors, from the financial and banking sectors to logistics and transport. Blockchan gets more and more importance from day to day. This technology has mainly become popular from the growing need for transparent systems and a higher level of security. Some of the world's largest corporations, such as Wal-Mart, Maerska and IBM, have recognized the importance and potential of blockchains and have invested significant funds in the development of this technology. Within the logistics sector, blockchain offers many advantages. Starting with greater transparency and the ability to share information within the supply chain, reduce errors, facilitate package monitoring and prevent information manipulation. So the subject of this paper is the possibility of applying blockchain technology in logistics systems. Blockchain technology, possible application, current application and general features of logistics systems will be described in more detail.
