Abstract

Zračni promet kao grana evoluira iz godine u godinu. Primjetno je da najveći utjecaj imaju tehnološke inovacije i digitalizacija. Poslovanje zračnih luka zadnjih godina bilježi konstantan rast. Sukladno tome potrebna su poboljšanja u vidu smanjenja vremena obrade, vremena čekanja i prostoru potrebnom po putniku. Na te parametre najviše utječe prometni tok unutar predmetnog terminala, konfiguracija terminala te raspored primarno tehnoloških sadržaja. Razina kvalitete usluge prvi put se pojavljuje sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća kad je kompanija Transport Canada izradila prvi koncept. Zatim ga je Međunarodno udruženje zračnih prijevoznika pretvorilo u koncept sa šest razina kvaliteta usluge, a potom modificiralo u prostorno vremensku matricu s tri razine kvalitete usluge od kojih je razina „optimum“ najefikasnija. U skladu s tim vlasnici zračnih luka, upravitelji i koncesionari odabiru najbolji model poslovanja koji je specifičan za svaku zračnu luku. Na primjeru Zračne luke Split u ovom radu biti će izrađena komparativna analiza starog terminala, koji je bio pod kapacitiran s obzirom na količinu prometa i novog terminala koji bi te iste kapacitete putnika trebao zaprimiti bez većih teškoća.

Abstract (english)

Air traffic is evolving year after year. It is noticeable that technological innovations and digitalization have the greatest impact. Airport operations have been growing steadily in recent years. Improvements are needed in the form of reduced processing time, waiting time and space required per passenger. These parameters are mostly influenced by the traffic flow within the terminal, the configuration of the terminal and the layout of primarily technological contents. The level of service quality first appears in the 1970s when Transport Canada developed the first concept. Then the International Air Transport Association turned it into a concept with six levels of service, and then modified it into a spatial – temporal matrix with three levels of service, of which the level „optimum“ is the most efficient. Accordingly, airport owners, managers and concessionaires choose the best business model that is specific to each airport. In this paper, it will be presented a comparative case study of the old terminal at Split Airport, which was under capacity regarding the amount of traffic and the new terminal at Split Airport, which should receive the same capacity of passengers without major difficulties.
