Abstract

Transportno osiguranje je grana osiguranja u okviru koje se osiguravaju imovinski interesi izloženi prijevoznim i drugim transportnim rizicima. Ono je bitan faktor u svim poslovnim djelatnostima, a posebice u logističkim procesima prijevoza i osiguranja robe jer efikasno razrađena prijevozna logistika kvalificira tvrtke na konkurentno tržište te pruža učinkovitu logističku uslugu. Prilikom svake razmjene tereta važno je ugovoriti određeno osiguranje kako bi roba bila isporučena kupcu onakva kakvu je prijevoznik preuzeo od prodavatelja. Ukoliko dođe do štete, ugovaratelj osiguranja podnosi odštetni zahtjev, a osiguravajuće društvo pokreće proces likvidacije štete.

Abstract (english)

Transport insurance is a branch of insurance in which interests of goods exposed to transport risks are insured. It is an important factor in all business activities, especially in the logistics processes of transport and insurance of goods, because efficiently developed transport logistics qualifies companies to a competitive market and provides an efficient logistics service. During each exchange of cargo, it's important to arrange certain insurance so that products are delivered to the buyer as the carrier has taken over from the seller. If damage occurs, the policyholder submits a claim for damages, and the insurance company initiates the process of liquidation of the damage.
