Abstract

Globalnim širenjem poslovanja javlja se sve veća udaljenost između mjesta proizvodnje sirovina i mjesta pružanja krajnje usluge, odnosno dostave proizvoda krajnjem kupcu, pa se tako povećavaju troškovi logistike kao i ukupni troškovi poslovanja. Za postizanje veće efikasnosti i konkurentnosti potrebno je primjeniti nove trendove u logistici, a to uključuje složeni pristup poslovanju kroz informacijsku tehnologiju te integraciju logističkih procesa. Preduvjet za integraciju logističkog lanca je značajnija uporaba informacijskih tehnologija u određenim logističkim procesima poput upravljanja inventarom, nabave, skladištenja i transporta. Za navedeno je potrebno proučiti postojeće tržište, kretanje proizvoda, informacija i usluga u logističkom lancu te planirati primjenu suvremenih rješenja u logistici.

Abstract (english)

With the global business expansion, the place of raw materials production and the place of final service - the delivery to the customer, become more distant, so the logistics costs become higher, as well as the total business cost. Achievement of more effectivness and competitiveness requires implementation of new logistics trends, which includes more complex bussiness aproach through information technology and integration of logistics processes. The prerequisite of logistic chain integration is more significant use of information technology in certain logistic processes like inventory management, procuration, storage and transport. For specified logistic processes it is neccessery to study the existing market and the movement of products, information and services within the logistic chain, and plan the use of modern solutions in logistics.
