Abstract

U ovom radu provedena je analiza vremena čekanja u čvoru višeuslužne (MultiService Network) u ovisnosti o broju paketa, duljini paketa te kapacitetu odlaznog kanala. U svrhu analize napravljene su tri simulacije rada čvora višeuslužne mreže u kojemu je implementirana metoda dodjele kapaciteta kružnog posluživanja (Round Robin). Temeljem proračuna vremena trajanja posluživanja te vremena odlaska paketa iz sustava, odnosno čvora, izračunata su vremena čekanja pojedinog paketa kao i prosječne vrijednosti za svaku simulaciju.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis an analysis of packet waiting time in the MultiService Network node has been conducted, depending on the number of packet, their length and capacity of the outgoing link. Three simulations of MSN node performance with implemented Round Robin queue scheduling discipline have been made. Based on the serving time and serving ending time of each packet that has arrived at the node, it has been calculated the expected waiting time of each packet and the average value for every simulation.
