Abstract

Piloti zrakoplova su tijekom radnog vremena izloženi visokim razinama buke, a s obzirom da sigurnost letenja i uspješnost zadaće ovisi o psihofizičkom stanju pilota, potrebno je proučiti karakteristike buke kojoj su oni izloženi te moguće kratkotrajne i dugotrajne posljedice na zdravlje. Prvih par poglavlja pojašnjava zvuk, buku, i sluh te ukazuje na posljedice koje prekomjerna buka može imati na zdravlje pojedinca. Ostatak rada opisuje helikopter kao izvor buke i tehničko eksploatacijske karakteristike helikoptera Bell OH-58D, te predstavlja metode mjerenja, dobivene rezultate i njihovu analizu. Svrha ovog diplomskog rada je izmjeriti i analizirati razinu kabinske buke helikoptera Bell OH-58D i procijeniti je li trenutačna zaštita sluha i zdravlja pilota adekvatna te koja su moguća poboljšanja.

Abstract (english)

Aircraft pilots are exposed to high noise levels during their working hours, and since flight safety and mission success depend on the psychophysical condition of the pilots, the noise characteristics to which they are exposed and the possible short- and long-term health effects must be studied. The first couple of chapters explain sound, noise, and hearing, and outline the effects that excessive noise can have on an individual's health. The rest of the paper describes the helicopter as a source of noise and the technical operational characteristics of the Bell OH-58D helicopter, and presents methods of measurement, the results obtained and their analysis. The purpose of this thesis is to measure and analyze the cabin noise level of a Bell OH-58D helicopter and to see if the pilot's current hearing and health protection is adequate and what are the possible improvements.
