Abstract

Svjedoci smo da se svaki dan povećava broj vozila po cestama. Povećanjem broja vozila na cestama sve je više ugroženiji okoliš u kojem živimo zbog ispušnih plinova iz tih istih vozila. Kako bi se smanjio štetni utjecaj ispušnih plinova na okoliš, autoindustrija sve više istražuje alternativna goriva koja bi koristila vozila, a koja njihovom uporabom ne bi toliko štetila okolišu. Postoje i drugi razlozi zašto bi trebali koristiti alternativna goriva a ne naftu. Jedan od razloga je taj što se uporabom alternativnih goriva smanjuje i buka koju stvaraju vozila tijekom svog rada. Jedan od važnijih razloga za sve većim proučavanjem alternativnih goriva je i taj što se sve više smanjuju rezerve nafte pa je do njene potrošnje potrebno istražiti alternativna goriva koja bi ju na kraju zamijenila. Korištenjem hibridnih vozila ili vozila koja su pogonjena na biodiezel, plin i struju štedimo i novac jer troše i manje goriva od vozila koja su pogonjena klasičnim gorivima.

Abstract (english)

We are daily witnessing the increase in the number of vehicles on the roads. Due to this increase the environment in which we live is getting more and more endangered because of the exhaust fumes from those vehicles. In order to decrease the dangerous impact of exhaust fumes to the environment, automotive industry is carrying out a number of researches in alternative fuels used by vehicles which would not harm the environment in that extent. There are other reasons why we should use alternative fuels and not oil. One of the reasons is that by using alternative fuels the level of noise made by vehicles is reduced too. Another important reason for more extensive research into alternative fuels is that the oil reserves are reducing so it is necessary to investigate alternative fuels before we exploit oil. The usage of hybrid vehicles or vehicles run by biodiesel, gas or electricity also saves money because such vehicles consume less fuel than those run by classic fuels.
