Abstract
Osnovna funkcija raskrižja u mreži je da omogući neometano prometovanje te brže i lakše povezivanje jednog mjesta sa drugim. Porastom količine prometa na raskrižjima se javljaju veliki repovi čekanja, smanjenje propusne moći, povećanje broja prometnih nesreća, što za negativnu posljedicu ima otežano prometovanje, te razina usluge raskrižja uslijed takvih utjecaja se smanjuje. Kako bi se uklonili navedeni problemi potrebno je investirati u prometnice, kako bi one postale mjesto sigurnije i udobnije vožnje. Da bi se postigla što veća sigurnost i razina usluge raskrižja u mreži potrebno je pronaći optimalnu varijantu za rekonstrukciju raskrižja. Istraživanje u okviru ovog diplomskog rada, obuhvaća detaljnu analizu postojećeg stanja raskrižja Vukovarske ulice i Ulice fra Petra Bakule u Posušju. Na temelju analize postojećeg stanja predložene su nove varijante raskrižja koje je izrađena SWOT analiza, a zatim su varijante vrednovane višekriterijskom analizom primjenom AHP metode uz programsku podršku Expert Choice. Za izabrano optimalno rješenje izrađena je analiza osjetljivosti te je predložen model financiranja.

Parallel abstract (English)
The main function of the intersection in road network is to allow smooth circulation of traffic as well as easier and faster connecting routes. With higher traffic volume on the road network there is a higher rate of traffic jams, reduction of flow capacity, and increased traffic accidents which have negative consequences in normal traffic flow. Additionally, the level of service on that kind of road is then reduced. In order to remove these problems, it is necessary to invest certain resources in roads, so that they become a place of safer and more comfortable driving. In order to achieve higher road safety and higher level of service on intersections it is necessary to find methods for the best optimization for the reconstruction on the intersection. The research in this diploma thesis includes a detailed analysis of the current situation on intersection of Vukovarska Street and Street Fra Petar Bakula in Posušje. Based on the analysis of the current situation, new variants of intersection are proposed and SWOT analysis is created. Variants are then valued with multi-criteria analysis using AHP method with the support of Expert Choice software. For a selected optimal solution, sensitivity analysis is developed and the funding model is proposed.
