Abstract

Trgovina kao posrednik između proizvođača i krajnjeg kupca zahtijeva razrađeni sustav upravljanja zalihama koji mora voditi računa o optimalnim količinama zaliha. Kako bi se ostvarila dobit i zahtjevi kupaca istovremeno, potrebno je imati kvalitetan model upravljanja zalihama robe. Često menadžeri moraju donositi odluke o razini zaliha robe s ograničenim vijekom trajanja. Roba ograničenog vijeka trajanja predstavlja svaku robu koja protekom vremena postaje potencijalno zdravstveno neispravna za ljudsku upotrebu. Jedan od modela pomoću kojeg se može odrediti optimalna razina zaliha jest Newsvendor model. Optimalne zalihe osiguravaju kontinuirano funkcioniranje sustava uz najniže troškove nabave i skladištenja. Različiti modeli upravljanja zalihama imaju svoje prednosti i nedostatke, stoga je ključno unaprijed isplanirati koji model zadovoljava potrebe poslovanja.

Abstract (english)

Trade as an intermediary between the manufacturer and the end customer requires a sophisticated management system that must take into account the optimum stock levels. In order to achieve the profits and customer requirements at the same time, it is necessary to have a good model of stockpile management. Perishable goods represent any commodity that, in the course of time, becomes potentially unfit for human consumption. One of the models for determining the optimal stock level is the Newsvendor model. Optimal supplies ensure continuous operation of the system with the lowest cost of procurement and storage. Various inventory management models have their advantages and disadvantages, so it is crucial to plan ahead which model meets the needs of the business.
