Abstract

Informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije se sve više uključuju u živote svih ljudi, što ne zaobilazi ni slijepe i slabovidne osobe. Takve tehnologije su od iznimne važnosti jer oni podižu kvalitetu života slijepih i slabovidnih osoba. Zbog toga se nazivaju pomoćnim tehnologijama. Kretanje slijepih i slabovidnih osoba prometnom mrežom danas se temelji na primjeni pomagala poput bijelog štapa čiju tehniku korištenja svladavaju na treningu orijentacije i kretanja. Kroz ovaj rad ponajprije se govori o konceptualnim rješenjima za povećanje mobilnosti slijepih i slabovidnih osoba. Na temelju analize konceptualnih rješenja su se definirali i opisali korisnički zahtjevi. Analizirat će se i bežične tehnologije koje mogu pomoći pri kretanju prometnom mrežom.

Abstract (english)

Information and communication technologies are increasingly involved in the lives of the all people, and they are not avoiding blind and visually impaired people. That kind of technologies are very important because they are raising the quality of life for blind and visually impaired people. That's why they are called assistive technologies. Movement of the blind and visually impaired through a traffic network is based on the use of aids like a white cane that users overcome in movement and orientation training. Throughout the thesis primarily we are going to talk about conceptual solutions for increasing mobility of the visually impaired persons. Based on the analysis of conceptual solutions, the user requirements were defined and described. We are going to analyze wireless technologies that can help us to move through the traffic network.
