Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
The analysis of statistical data on the current condition of the air cargo transport in the Republic of Croatia shows the relationship between the goods flow of all airports. In addition to the main airport, Zagreb International Airport, other airports generally don’t have cargo traffic and they do not develop in this direction. Guidelines for the development of cargo traffic to the principles of the European Union are linked to the full computerization of processes and reduction of required paper documents. Intermodality as a guideline for the development of cargo traffic, should enable the interconnection of all modes of transport, particularly air and rail and thus cheaper cost of cargo transportation with a greater degree of customer satisfaction.
