Abstract

Primjena alternativnog goriva u zračnom prometu je od iznimne važnosti. Godišnji porast putničkog i teretnog prometa uzrokuje sve vedu razinu emisija stakleničkih plinova koji utječu na globalno zatopljenje, i štetnih plinova što štete kvaliteti zraka. Alternativna goriva su u stanju usporiti, a neka i ukloniti navedene probleme. Postoje više vrsta alternativnih goriva koja variraju u karakteristikama. Ved se koriste alternativna goriva u komercijalnom zračnom prometu, ovisno o količini istraživanja i financiranja. U ovome radu analizirane su vrste alternativnih goriva, točnije njihova ekonomična, ekološka i socijalna opravdanost. Ekonomična opravdanost se odnosi na njihovu dostupnost na tržištu, ekološka opravdanost se odnosi na emisije goriva, dok se socijalna opravdanost odnosi na stajalište društva prema njima.

Abstract (english)

The use of alternative fuel in air travel is of high importance. Yearly rise of passenger and cargo traffic causes more and more greenhouse gas emissions which have an effect on global warming, and harmful gases which cause harm to air quality. Alternative fuels are capable to slow, and some are able to remove mentioned problems. There are many types of alternative fuels which vary in characteristics. Alternative fuels are already in use in commercial air travel, depending on amount of research and funding. In this study various alternative fuels are analyzed, more accurately their economic and social validity. Economic validity refers to their availability on market, ecologic validity refers to fuel emissions, while social validity refers to the attitude of society towards them.
