Abstract

Transportno osiguranje podrazumijeva granu osiguranja u okviru kojeg se osiguravaju imovinski interesi izloženi prijevoznim i drugim transportnim rizicima, a obuhvaća osiguranje plovnih objekata i letjelica, osiguranje robe i drugih stvari u prijevozu morem, unutarnjim vodama, kopnom i zrakom, samo jednom vrstom prometa ili u kombinaciji više njih, kao i osiguranje odgovornosti brodara i prijevoznika. Prema grani prometa transportno se osiguranje dijeli na pomorsko i unutarnje plovidbe, te na ne pomorsko osiguranje u koje se ubraja željezničko, cestovno i zračno transportno osiguranje.Transportno osiguranje, kao jedan od bitnijih špediterskih poslova, je posao u kojem treba voditi računa o poslovima međušpeditera, vrstama rizika, štete i naknadi štete te o ugovoru o osiguranju. Poslove u svezi s osiguranjem robe korisnici prijevoza u pravilu prepuštaju špediteru, budući da se špediter primarno bavi organizacijom prijevoza, te su mu stoga dobro poznati rizici kojima je roba tijekom prijevoza izložena, kao i sama tehnika zaključivanja ugovora o osiguranju i postupka likvidacije štete.

Abstract (english)

Transport insurance is a branch of insurance within which property interests exposed to transport and other transport risks are secured. Transport insurance includes watercraft and aircraft insurance, insurance of goods and other belongings transported by seaway, inland waterway, land and air transport, goods transported by only one type of transport or in a combination of more types of transport, as well as the liability insurance of the shipping company and carrier. Transport insurance is divided into seaway and inland waterway insurance and non-waterway insurance, which contains rail, road and air transport insurance. Transport insurance is one of the most important jobs for a forwarder and it is necessary to take subcontractors jobs, types of risk and damage, compensation for damage and insurance contracts into account. Actions related to the insurance of goods are generally left for forwarder by transport users since the forwarder is primarily dealing with the organization of transport and so the risks to which the goods are exposed are well known to him, as well as the technique of concluding insurance contrancts and the process of liquidation of the damage.
