Abstract

Globalizacija tržišta i nagli razvoj tehnologije doveo je do niza promjena u načinima poslovanja poduzeća gdje uspješno upravljanje informacijskom tehnologijom prerasta u jednu od glavnih strateških prednosti brojnih poduzeća. Nove tehnologije stvaraju strateške mogućnosti za poduzeće da grade konkurentne prednosti u različitim funkcionalnim područjima upravljanja, uključujući logistiku i upravljanje opskrbnim lancem. Informacijske i komunikacijske tehnologije osnova su za integraciju suvremenih logističkih procesa. Integracija logističkih procesa u jedinstveni logistički lanac, uz značajne uštede, poduzeću donosi veću konkurentnost i profitabilnost.

Abstract (english)

The globalization of markets and the suddent development of technology led to a number of changes in the way businesses operate, where successful information technology managment has become one of the major strategic advantages of many companies. New technologies create strategic opportunities for companies to build competitive advantages in different functional areas of managment, including logistics and supply chaing managment. Information and communication technologies are the basis for integration of modern logistics processes. Integration of logistics processes into a unique logistics chain, with significant savings, brings companies greater competitiveness and profitability.
