Abstract

Trendovi priljeva stanovništva u gradove, te posebno njihove aglomeracije odnosno okolna urbanizirana područja, prisutni su već nekoliko zadnjih desetljeća posvuda u svijetu. Prognoze pokazuju da će se takvi trendovi nastaviti i u bližoj budućnosti. Kako se gradske aglomeracije ubrzano šire, paralelno s njima širi se i prometna mreža istih, također, povećavaju se i svakodnevne migracije ljudi, koji zbog raznolikih mogućnosti i sadržaja u gradovima, žele biti mobilni. Mobilnost je jedna od osnovnih ljudskih potreba i svaka urbana sredina treba težiti zadovoljenju te potrebe za kretanjem. Međutim, zbog različitosti ljudi, postoji mnogo načina kako tu potrebu za mobilnošću zadovoljiti. Shodno tome, u gradskim aglomeracijama postoji veliki izbor različitih modova prijevoza, te će svaki korisnik pokušati sebi izabrati optimalan način putovanja. Upravo zbog te velike ponude prijevoznih modova i rastućeg broja korisnika istih, postavlja se zadatak prema prometnim stručnjacima i različitim institucijama i tvrtkama diljem svijeta za usklađivanjem i optimiziranjem vremenskog, financijskog, sigurnosnog i ekološkog utjecaja svakog kretanja gradskog stanovništva.

Abstract (english)

Trends of population influx into the cities, and especially into their aglomerations and surrounding urbanised areas, are present for the last few decades everywhere in the world. Many scientists prognose that these trends will continue in near future. As city aglomerations are growing, their transpot network is spreading, also, everyday population migrations are also growing. Citizens, because of various possibilities and content in the cities, want to be mobile. Mobility is one of the basic human needs and every urbanised area needs to fullfil that need for motion. However, people are different and because of that there are many ways of satisfying the need for mobility. In accordance with that, in city aglomerations there is a variety of different transport modes for people to choose, so every user will try to find optimal travel mode for himself. Because of that various transport modes offer and a growing demand from users, a task or a mission sets towards traffic experts, different institutions and companies all around the globe to harmonize and optimise time, financial, safety and ecological influence of city population migration.
