Abstract

U radu se analizira uloga parkiranja u gradovima, spominju se vrste parkiranja, te prednosti i mane. Analizira se ponuda i potražnja za parkirnim mjestima, i moguća rješenja. Posebna pažnja je usmjerena na primjenu informatičkih tehnologija u parkiranju; načini koji su se koristili ranije, a koji se uvode sada.
Na početku se spominje povijest parkiranja, te načini i razlozi povećanja motorizacije koja je rezultirala većom potrebom za parkirališnim mjestima. Navedena je uloga parkiranja, te se spominju mitovi parkiranja, tipovi parkiranja i potražnja za parkiranjem. Objašnjena je standardna tehnologija u funkciji parkiranja i inovativna rješenja koja su nedavno uvedena u sustav ili koja su u planu. Nastavak se bazira na Grad Zagreb i njegovu problematiku s prometnim zagušenjem i velikom potražnjom za parkirnim mjestima. Uspoređuju se podaci s ostalim europskim gradovima, koji daju jasnu sliku situacije Grada Zagreba i u kojim područjima se treba više posvetiti da se riješe određeni problemi.

Abstract (english)

The paper analyzes the role of parking in cities, mentioned types of parking, and the advantages and disadvantages. It analyzes the supply and demand for parking spaces, and possible solutions. Special attention is focused on the application of information technologies in the parking; methods that have been used previously, which is now being introduced.
At first mention of the history of parking, and the ways and reasons of increasing motorization which resulted in a greater need for parking spaces. The above is the role of parking, and referred to the myths of parking, types of parking and the demand for parking. Explains the standard technology in the function of parking and the innovative solutions that have been recently introduced into the system or that are planned. Continuation is based on the City of Zagreb and its issues with traffic congestion and high demand for parking spaces. They compare the data with other European cities, which give a clear picture of the situation of the City of Zagreb and in which areas should be more committed to resolve certain problems.
