Abstract

Diplomski rad obrađuje trenutačnu arhitekturu zračnog prostora u Europi. S obzirom na povećanje broja letova iz godine u godinu, dolazi do prekapacitiranosti sustava koji u budućnosti sa sobom nosi velika kašnjenja pojedinačnih letova, preopterećenost sustava upravljanja zračnim prometom i visokim financijskim kaznama. Kako bi se izbjegla velika kašnjenja, EUROCONTROL u suradnji sa Europskim Parlamentom izrađuje i implementira studiju pod nazivom "Airspace Architecture Study" koja razrađuje kritična područja unutar trenutačne arhitekture zračnog prostora, te razrađuje moguća rješenja u dvije skupine. Svrha diplomskog rada je istražiti i analizirati trenutačnu arhitekturu zračnog prostora i odrediti područja koja su kritična za unaprijeđeni rad sustava pri broju zahtjeva koji se očekuje do 2035. godine. Cilj istraživanja je istražiti i analizirati najbolja rješenja za prilagodbu zračnog prostora i sustava upravljanja zračnim prometom eksponencijalnom povećanju broja zahtjeva u narednim godinama.

Abstract (english)

This master’s thesis describes the current European airspace architecture. Given the fact that the number of flights increases year by year, the system operates in a state of overcapacity, which results in long delays of flights and big financial sanctions in the future. To avoid long delays, EUROCONTROL is working in cooperation with the European Parliament in implementing a study under the name “Airspace Architecture Study”, which analyses the critical areas of the current airspace architecture and divides possible solutions into two groups. The purpose of this master’s thesis is to see into and analyse the current airspace architecture and define the areas which are paramount for the improvement of the current system, planned to be fully implemented by the year 2035. The goal of this research is to examine and analyse the best possible solutions for adapting the airspace and air traffic management systems to an exponential increase in the number of requests in the coming years.
