Abstract

Špedicija kao jedna od važnih gospodarskih djelatnosti neke zemlje ima značajan utjecaj na sustav njene razmjene i prometa u cjelini. Zadaci špeditera su raznovrsni i kompleksni te zbog velike konkurencije oni moraju biti dobro upoznati sa novim tehnologijama prometa, carinskim sustavima, vanjskotrgovinskom politikom, raznim logističkim rješenjima ukoliko se žele probiti na tržište i zadržati vodeću poziciju. Nakon pristupanja Republike Hrvatske Europskoj Uniji 01.07.2013. događaju se brojne promjene koje pogađaju špeditersku djelatnost. Špediteri su izgubili određeni dio poslova, poput carinskog posredovanja zbog čega su se brojna poduzeća zatvorila i prestala s radom. S druge strane neki su svoju djelatnost počeli nadopunjavati određenim uslugama pomoću kojih su poprimili funkcije logističkih operatera. U ovom radu osvrnut ćemo se na poslovanje špedicije nakon pristupanja Hrvatske Europskoj Uniji. Glavni cilj je da se nakon pregleda literature iz promatranog područja i prikupljanja podataka definiraju najveće promjene u špediterskom poslovanju nakon ulaska Hrvatske u Europsku Uniju.

Abstract (english)

Forwarding, as one of the key economic activities of a certain country, has a big influence on its trade system. Forwarding agencies' tasks are very various and complex and, due to huge competition, they have to be familiar with new traffic technologies, customs regulations, foreign trade politics and various logistic solutions in order to conquer the market and obtain a leading role. After entering EU on 01.07.2013., Croatia has gone through a lot of changes in this field, both, positive and negative ones. Customs brokers have lost a big part of their business that resulted in closing their companies. On the other hand, some of them have decided to complement their business with additional services in order to upgrade their position on logistics market. This essay will try to elaborate forwarding business in Croatia after becoming and EU member. The main goal of this essay is that, after consulting and analyzing the proper literature, we manage to define the biggest changes and current status of forwarding business in Croatia.
