Abstract

Prometne nesreće nastaju kada korisnici nemaju kontrolu nad situacijama u cestovnom prostoru. Na sigurnost prometa utječu tri osnovna podsustava: čovjek, vozilo i cesta. Tehnički nedostatak ceste čest je uzrok nastanka prometnih nesreća. Europska Unija državama članicama nalaže uvođenje i provedbu postupaka za sigurnije upravljanje cestovnom infrastrukturom. Postupak za provedbu uključuje ocjenjivanje utjecaja na cestovnu sigurnost, reviziju cestovne sigurnosti, upravljanje sigurnosnim aspektima na cestovnoj mreži te kontrolu sigurnosti na cestama. Tehnički pregled ceste služi otkrivanju prometno - tehničkih nedostataka na elementima ceste. Prikupljanje podataka o prometnim nesrećama značajan je za uklanjanje nedostataka ceste.

Abstract (english)

Traffic accidents happen when users have no control over the situations in the road space. Traffic safety is affected by three basic subsystems: man, vehicle and the road. A technical defect of the road is a common cause of road accidents. The European Union requires the Member States to introduce and implement procedures for safer management of road infrastructure. The implementation process includes road safety impact assessment, road safety audit, the management of road safety aspects and road safety contol. The techincal road inspection serves to detect traffic and technical defects on the road components.. Collecting traffic accident data is important for eliminating road defects.
